Directions to Duke Community Housing

From East Campus Bus Stop
Walk towards Baldwin Auditorium and to the right side of the East Campus quad.
Turn right and take walkway between the former Duke University Museum of Art and Wilson Dorm (1st and 2nd red brick buildings on your right).
Crowell Hall is straight ahead.

From Richmond, VA and points north
Via I-85 South: In Durham, take the left-lane exit (#174B) for U.S. 15-501 South Bypass - Duke University/Chapel Hill.
Continue on U.S. 15-501 to N.C. 147 (Durham Freeway) exit.
Take Durham Freeway South to Swift Ave. exit (#14). Turn left onto Swift Ave.
At second traffic light turn right onto W. Main St.
At second traffic light turn left onto Buchanan Blvd.
At first traffic light turn left onto East Campus (Epworth Service Rd. ­ more like a long driveway that goes behind the main quad of East Campus).
Follow temporary construction signs to parking lot and continue through lot until you see 3-story red brick building, which is Crowell Hall. Park and obtain visitor parking permit from Community Housing office.

From the RDU International Airport & points east
Take I-40 West: Exit onto the Durham Freeway (N.C. 147).
Take Durham Freeway to Swift Ave., exit #14. Turn right onto Swift Ave.
At first traffic light turn right onto W. Main St.
At second traffic light turn left onto Buchanan Blvd.
At first traffic light turn left onto East Campus (Epworth Service Rd. ­ more like a long driveway that goes behind the main quad of East Campus).
